Muslim Housing Services, founded in 1999 as a
non-profit organization, 501 (c) 3, helps alleviating
the hardships facing homeless families in the greater
Seattle area in Washington State. MHS has been taking
care of many homeless families over the last few years.
Instead of surviving by moving from a shelter to another
and spending nights on the streets, many homeless
families now have home. Muslim Housing Services helps
those families by finding economic housing units to live
in and by subsidizing their rent. Muslim Housing
Services mentors the needy families to find better ways
of living and to become self-sufficient.
